Check out this article...I found it very interesting that technology is being used in the classroom NOT by computers...I think you will find it interesting and get the wheels turning in your head...it did with me!

Ashley, these devices have been around for awhile. Several Cortland professors use them.

What powers the clicker? In demos I've seen the prof/teacher sees the responses immediately on the LCD projector and can immediately give students feedback.

I would consider this a "computer" technology? No?

Thanks for sharing this site.

I've never seen a professor here use this type of a "clicker". I've seen them use a clicker for a projection screen, but never to take attendance or to grade tests or anything along those lines. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I've never seen it used here.

If it really is, I'd like to actually see it in action.

Hey Ashley,

Thanks for sharing that article! I also have never heard of or seen this clicker. Do you think it is something you would want to use in your classroom?

That makes three of us who have never heard of click before. Yes or no...would you use this in your classroom someday?

No I wouldn't. It's more useful for lecture type classrooms. Where in a middle or high school classroom they are more intimate I don't feel there would really be a need for them. And I haven't heard of them either or professors on campus using them either that's why I got really interested in the article.
